AAT Assistant Accountant, Weybridge - Fletcher George is currently recruiting for a highly successful firm of Chartered Accountants in Surrey. The firm work with a wide range of clients including many local SME businesses. You will report directly to senior management and enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package. Our client currently has a career opening for an AAT studier to work as an Assistant Accountant.
The main responsibilities of this AAT Assistant Accountant will be:
- Preparation of management and statutory accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns and monthly and quarterly bookkeeping duties
- Assisting clients with general accounting support and advice
- Extensive client liaison
You will be required to have at least eighteen months of relevant practical experience working in a firm of accountants with practical experience of accounts preparation and book keeping work. Excellent communication skills are also essential as there will be lots of client interaction.
