Our client is currently recruiting for a Graduate ACA Accounts Trainee to begin a structured ACA training programme in August or September 2025, based near Woking, Surrey.

The programme will run for 3 to 4 years and you will be offered with full support for the prestigious ACA qualification including apprenticeship funding if eligible.

This career opportunity is ideal for either a recent graduate (ideally with a 2:1 degree or predicted equivalent) or perhaps a Graduate who already has some accounting experience and is committed now to becoming an ACA Chartered Accountant.

In this role, you will assist client supervisors and managers to preparing complex statutory and management accounts, working effectively with client data and gradually taking on additional responsibility. As you progress through your training, you will  deliver work that aligns with the expectations of a finance director—acting as a quasi–FD once qualified.

Applicants must be fully committed to completing the ACA qualification, which includes rigorous technical learning (covering finance, ethics, and business modules) alongside hands-on professional experience. Strong Excel competency, clear communication skills, professional discretion and meticulous attention to detail are essential attributes.

This role offers flexible working options—hybrid schedules, compressed hours, staggered starts, or job-sharing—to help you balance your professional development with personal commitments while maintaining high service standards. You will be part of a supportive, values-driven team and they will be committed to supporting you as you study and work to become a Qualified Accountant.

How to Apply

Please submit your CV along with a brief overview to include:

  • Your degree result or predicted outcome
  • Any relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Motivation for pursuing ACA training in a firm of accountants
  • Your connection to the Woking area or relocation intentions
  • Any other relevant information relevant
