Audit & Accounts Senior / Assistant Manager, Woking - our client is a very well established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Woking, Surrey. They have a very experienced and well connected senior management team and the firm has an enviable reputation. The Partners now seek to recruit an experienced professional from Practice to join this dynamic firm.
As an Audit & Accounts Senior /Assistant Manager you will be either ACA or ACCA Qualified, or perhaps a late stage studier with strong technical skills.
This role certainly suits an ambitious individual as there is a clear route to a future managerial role within the firm.
Core Duties:
- Reporting directly to the Partners
- This role offers a healthy mix of Audit and Accounts work
- Managing a large client portfolio which covers a variety of industries and also a range of not for profit organisations
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts
- Management reporting and advisory work
- Assisting with the development of junior staff which will include reviewing their work
This is very much a client facing role, which comes with significant responsibility and lots of autonomy. The firm also has a proven track record of promoting from within, so can offer excellent future career prospects. You will be involved in all aspects of the Audit process, from planning through to completion. You will also mentor some of the more junior members of the team.

To secure this position you must have previous experience gained within an Accounting Practice, which includes exposure to Audit work and Accounts preparation. You will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and have the ability to build long term business relationships with a diverse client base.
