Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper, Surrey

Our client is a highly respected Surrey-based firm of Accountants, who now seek an Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their team.

To secure this role you will already have at least 18 months to 2 years experience of working within a Practice and will ideally have good knowledge of Sage 50 or Xero.

The Role

Reporting to the Partners, you will join a professional and supportive team environment and work with a wide range of clients, which are predominantly local businesses. The role is also extremely varied, the main duties will include:

  • All aspects of general ledgers
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
  • Calculation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Data entry

A good understanding of Excel is also advantageous.
