Superb career opportunity for a Newly Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant to join this dynamic firm in Guildford as an Accounts Senior / Accounts Supervisor.
The Firm:
Our client is a rapidly growing practice based in Guildford, Surrey. This is a modern firm that embraces cloud-based technology and provides expert advice to a growing client base. The clients are typically SME companies and entrepreneurial / owner-managed businesses.
About You:
Ideally, you will be a newly qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant with experience gained within an accountancy practice and be keen to step up to a more senior position.
Reporting to the senior management team, this Accounts Senior role is a key one for the firm and Guildford team. You will enjoy a varied role and will supervise five members of staff. These guys are highly motivated and keen to learn and you will be tasked with developing their technical skills further.
The firm predominantly uses Xero and QuickBooks so experience of working with cloud-based software is advantageous.
Your core duties will include:
- Statutory Accounts preparation
- Management reporting and Management Accounts
- Overseeing and reviewing the work of junior staff - this includes Bookkeeping, VAT Returns and Payroll
- Corporation Tax Returns
- Liaising with HMRC and clients directly
You will be working closely and advising a wide range of clients to include Limited Companies, LLPs, Sole Traders and Charities.
