Are you an experienced Accounts Senior Manager or Associate Director looking for greater influence and the opportunity to progress towards Director or Partner?
Fletcher George Recruitment is working with a growing independent accountancy practice in Guildford, seeking a senior professional to take a leading role in client relationships, team development and the future direction of the firm.
Working directly with the Partners, you will have the opportunity to influence decisions, develop an established portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, and contribute to the continued growth of a practice known for strong client relationships and low staff turnover.

The Role
- Manage and develop a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients
- Act as a trusted adviser on accounting, tax and wider commercial matters
- Lead new client enquiries, meetings and relationship development
- Oversee accounts and corporation tax assignments, including UK GAAP reporting
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to the development of the team
- Work closely with the Partners on business development and the future growth of the practice
About You
We welcome applications from established Accounts Senior Managers and Associate Directors with:
- ACA or ACCA qualification and substantial UK accountancy practice experience
- A proven track record of managing and developing client portfolios
- Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts and corporation tax
- Excellent client relationship and team leadership skills
- Commercial awareness and an interest in progressing towards Director or Partner
Location
Based in Guildford, Surrey, with hybrid working and with convenient access from Woking, Godalming, Farnham, Cranleigh, Dorking and surrounding areas.
