Assistant Accountant / Semi Senior Accountant, Redhill, Surrey

This is an exciting career opportunity for an active ACCA or AAT studier to join a very successful firm of accountants in the Redhill area.

You will already have experience working within Practice and be keen to develop your technical skills. You will enjoy a varied role and benefit from full study support and continuous training to maximise your potential.

Reporting to the senior management team, your main responsibilities will include:

Preparing year-end accounts for a wide range of SME clients (FRS 102 and FRS 105)
Producing monthly management accounts and ad-hoc reporting
You will have the opportunity to assist with client audits
Assisting with Corporate and Personal Tax Returns
Some general Bookkeeping work and calculation of VAT Returns.

The firm uses a variety of cloud based software, including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks. There is an impressive and growing client database, that includes Sole Traders, LLP's and Limited Companies.

Most of the team are office-based, although hybrid working is available. The firm works 37.5 hours per week (9.00 to 5.30 Monday to Friday).

To secure this role you must have previous experience working for a firm of accountants. Ideally, you will have transport or live within an easy commute. This role is commutable from Redhill, Reigate, Dorking, Leatherhead, Gatwick, Crawley, Horsham, Oxted, Caterham, Kingswood, Sutton, Epsom, Horley and East Grinstead
