Audit & Accounts Manager
Our client is a renowned firm of Chartered Accountants who seek to appoint an ambitious, motivated Audit and Accounts Manager. Based in stunning Guildford, you will report directly to the local Partners and enjoys lots of autonomy.
To secure this role, you must be either ACA or ACCA Qualified with at least 3 years experience gained working within a Practice environment.
The client base is extremely varied and you will take responsibility for a portfolio of of companies that include local Owner Managed Businesses, through to larger UK brands. The vast majority of clients are based within Surrey, although some are based in London and other areas (please note extensive traveling will not required).
The core duties will be split approximately 70% Audit work and 30% accounts. The role which will encompass managing the audit process from planning through to completion, preparation of statutory accounts, general business advisory work and supervising other staff members.
This is a key role and the ability to manage a varied work load , working within strict deadlines is essential. You will feel comfortable to communicate effectively with clients and staff at all levels and must enjoy working within a dynamic and progressive environment.
The Partners will consider candidates who currently work in a smaller independent firm and and wish to develop their skills further or applicants from other high profile firms who seek more autonomy and to work in a "mixed" role.
