The Audit Manager Role
As Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with senior leadership while developing your management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Reviewing audit files and financial statements ahead of Partner review
- Supporting and supervising junior team members and trainees
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
- Identifying audit risks and ensuring appropriate testing is carried out
- Supporting new client development and contributing to growth initiatives
- Assisting with workflow planning and ensuring deadlines are met
Client Portfolio
You will work with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, providing exposure to different sectors and the opportunity to build strong, long-term client relationships.
This role offers a balance of audit delivery alongside increasing involvement in client-facing and commercial aspects of the work.
About You
You will be ACA or ACCA-qualified, or close to qualification, with experience gained at a UK accountancy practice.
Suitable candidates will typically have:
- Experience working on audit assignments within practice
- A clear interest in stepping into or developing within a management role
- Strong understanding of UK auditing standards
- Confidence in communicating with clients and colleagues
