Our client is a high profile Accounting Firm that offers a superb career opportunity for an ambitious ACA or ACCA Qualified Audit Manager. Based in the stunning Surrey town of Guildford, this firm can offer an exciting combination of future progression and agile working.
You will be joining a growing firm that is multi sited and can create a real pathway for the future. In this newly created Audit Manager role there will be no glass ceiling imposed – it will be up to you to drive and carve a long term career strategy – the firm have all the resources to assist the right person to achieve Partnership. As an expert audit professional you will be given a considerable amount of autonomy to really develop your portfolio as well as developing your new client engagement skills by attending events – naturally everything is online during these times.
Your responsibilities will be to offer direction and support the current Audit team and work across a diverse client base which will include a number of large Groups, some of which have International interests and also some listed businesses.
Hence some of the audits are complex and you will be used to:
- Planning audits through to completion stage to make recommendations and ensure the necessary controls and regulatory assurance
- Supervising team members and be used to Partner and Client liaison to make recommendations to safeguard businesses.
You will have a genuine interest in working in a collaborative way across a multi-sited environment with a range of Partners and some challenging clients. You will benefit from an agile practice of working to include constant technological updates and currently the flexibility and support to work from home.
Initial interviews will be taking place via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
