Audit Senior, Leatherhead. Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants who seek to appoint a qualified Audit Senior to join their successful, thriving and highly motivated team. This Audit Senior position offers an excellent opportunity to progress and develop within a well-established and progressive firm.
Ideally, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified with a good general practice background, and be looking to work with a recognised firm in the Surrey area. A car driver will be required to attend meetings with Clients however the role does not involve extensive travelling. The Partners will consider candidates who currently work in a smaller independent firm who may only have a small amount of Audit experience and wish to develop in this area, or candidates coming from a larger firm who would like more autonomy as an Audit Senior.
The Role
The Audit Senior will work with owner-managed businesses across a wide range of industries, mainly in the Surrey area with a few in London. You will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the audit process
- Managing junior members of the team
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Controlling budgets
About You
- Ideally, you will have experience supervising junior staff
- You will be able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Effective communication with clients and staff, regardless of their level, is essential

The salary band of £42,000 - £47,000 has been set by Fletcher George as a guide and will depend on relevant PQ experience.
