Chartered Tax Advisor (mixed private client and corporate)
Client
An entrepreneurial firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors who are based in the Weybridge area of Surrey. They typically work with a wide range of clients across London and the South East to include Limited companies, Groups and Partnerships as well as a significant number of businesses with International interests as well as HNWIs and growing UK based Owner Managed Businesses.
Role
The role will allow you as a Tax Manager (ACA/CTA/ATT) to take responsibility for a mixed Tax portfolio of clients and have extensive liaison with the Directors of the businesses within your portfolio. The role includes both compliance work (a review of others also) and some advisory work for both private clients and corporate clients.
You will also be involved in some interesting projects covering all areas of corporate tax to include Employment Tax, Vat, and Remuneration Schemes including Share Option Schemes. Also you will work with a broad range of private clients some with complex tax affairs to include HNWIs, non UK domiciles individuals, trust and estates offering advisory solutions. There will certainly be plenty of chance to identify tax planning opportunities and to bring on board new clients to the firm.
The Person
Ideally you will be a Qualified ACA/CTA/ATT – ideally with a Mixed Tax background although a bias to either Private client or Corporate will be still be very interesting to this client.
It is envisaged you will have been working for the last five years in a pure Tax role and have experience of supervising more junior staff. You will certainly be used to Complex Compliance work and will be eager to identify Tax Planning opportunities and work with a real degree of autonomy as you manage your own portfolio.

Salary:
The salary band of £60,000 - £75,000 has been set as a guide by Fletcher George.

Based in Weybridge the role is commutable from Kingston, Egham, Woking, Twickenham and surrounding areas.
