Fletcher George Recruitment is supporting a growing and forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Guildford. This opportunity will suit a Corporate Tax professional who is keen to move beyond compliance and develop their advisory skills within a supportive and technically strong team.
The Role
This is a Corporate Tax Senior role with a balance of compliance and increasing exposure to advisory work.
You will prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns, while supporting a range of advisory projects including restructuring, capital allowances and R&D claims.
Working closely with Managers and Partners, you will gain exposure to more complex tax matters and develop your confidence in client-facing situations.
You will liaise directly with clients and HMRC, contribute to the development of junior team members, and work collaboratively across the wider business to deliver a high standard of service.
About You
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified and/or CTA qualified or part-qualified, with experience in corporate tax compliance within a UK accountancy practice.
You will have a genuine interest in developing your advisory skills and be comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues.
A proactive and organised approach is important, alongside the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Salary, Benefits & Working Environment
Salary of £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, with full study support available where required.
