An excellent opportunity to commence an ACA Training Contract in a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Guildford. This is a modern accountancy practice, with a dynamic management team. They seek an ambitious Trainee Accountant who is keen to study towards professional qualifications and build a long term career within practice.
Ideally, you will have recently completed your A-Levels or be a recent Graduate. The competitive package includes a salary of up to £24,000 plus full ACA study support and flexible working hours.
The role will be based within the Audit & Accounts team and you will benefit from a structured and proven training program with one of the UK's leading providers.
You will be working with a wide range of SME clients and the you will enjoy a varied role, to include:
- Learning all aspects of general bookkeeping
- Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Prepare Year-End Financial Statements.
- Understanding and preparing Corporation Tax Returns
- Perform audit work from planning through to completion.
The firm use a variety of modern / cloud based systems such as Xero.
