Fletcher George is currently recruiting for a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Surrey. The firm work with a wide range of clients from local SME businesses to large UK and International companies across many business sectors.
Our client currently has a career opening for an experienced Practice professional to work as an Accountant within their Business Services team. You will report directly to senior management and be based in stunning offices with study support. This is a perfect opportunity for an active AAT, ACA or ACCA studier to continue studying whilst working in a varied role and supportive team environment.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Preparation of management accounts
- All aspects of general bookkeeping
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Assisting clients with general accounting support and advice
- Extensive client liaison
You will be required to have at least two years of relevant practical experience working in a firm of accountants and ideally some exposure to preparing monthly accounts. Excellent communication skills are also essential as there will be lots of client interaction.
