Part Time Bookkeeper / Finance Manager - based Leatherhead
Fletcher George is currently representing a niche consultancy business that seek a Part Time Bookkeeper / Finance Manager for a sole charge position.
The company is well established and has an excellent reputation for a high-quality service and professionalism. This is a newly created role and you will work closely with the Managing Director.
The duties are varied, your time will be broadly split between finance duties (approximately two thirds) and the remainder being general administration / office management.
Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as is a working knowledge of Xero.
The role will be predominantly office based, although some remote working is also possible. It is envisaged that you will be required between one to two days per week or the equivalent hours. The working hours / days can be flexible.
Main responsibilities will involve controlling all aspects of the daily bookkeeping using Xero. This will include:
Sales invoicing (these tend to be low volume / high value)
Preparation of management accounts
Cash flow forecasting
Liaising with HMRC
Ad-hoc office management duties, including diary management
This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant who enjoys working for a small / owner managed business. The role is varied, offering lots of autonomy and flexible working.
Applicants will have at least 3 to 5 years experience of Bookkeeping and must have a sound knowledge of Xero. Ideally you will also live within an easy commute to Leatherhead, Surrey.
