Fletcher George is proud to be working with an impressive local children's charity. This small charity provides support to the local community and continues to grow rapidly.

Due to their continued success, they now seek a Part Time Finance Assistant for approximately 15 hours per week (ideally spread over 3 days). The role also offers a choice to work throughout the year OR during term times only. 

The role will be based in Reigate, and there may be flexibility for some home working. Parking is available. 

You will be working closely with the company Treasurer and report directly to the Finance Manager. 

The main duties include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of daily bookkeeping duties using Sage 50 
  • Record receipts of all income and handle daily banking
  • Paying supplier invoices promptly
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Producing month end reports for the Finance Manager

This opportunity suits an individual who wants to add value to the local community.

To secure this role, you will have at least 2-3 years accounts experience. Previous experience of working within a charity if preferable but not essential. You will also have a sound working knowledge of Sage 50
