Part Time Bookkeeper / Property Accountant required for City based Property Development company - although the majority of work can be done from home!

Our client is a relatively new business, however due continued to growth the Directors now seek an experienced Bookkeeper to work closely with them for approximately 4 or 5 days per week. 

Experience in a Property environment is essential.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone wishing to work within a relaxed, but professional environment that can offer lots of flexibility. It is envisaged you will need to be based in the office for perhaps 1 day every fortnight, the remainder of the work can be done remotely.

Reporting to the business owners and liaising with the external accountants, you will enjoy a varied role. The main systems used are QuickBooks and Excel, so previous experience of those systems are essential.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Raising sales invoices
  • Arranging payments to suppliers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing Directors expenses
  • Calculation of VAT Returns
  • Cash-flow forecasting
  • Ad-hoc financial reporting
