Our client has offices in South West London and Surrey and currently seek an ACA, or ACCA Qualified Accountant for a key role within the firm. The successful individual will also have a good knowledge of Personal and Corporate Tax and being CTA Qualified would be desirable.
Reporting to the Managing Partner this is very much a client-facing role and this individual will play a key part in the continued success and growth of the firm.
The business is very well established and services a large SME client base which includes: Medical Professionals, IT Contractors, Banking and Finance professionals, Property businesses and manufacturing companies.
Strong technical skills will be essential as the role is extremely varied and will involve of mix of Accounting and Taxation duties.
The main responsibilities will involve:
- Managing a team of highly motivated professionals (including Qualified and Junior staff)
- Preparing statutory and management accounts
- Allocation of work as well as reviewing completed assignments from team members
- Client advisory work including tax planning and tax efficient strategies
- Software implementation and guidance for clients
- Staff training and development
