Qualified Accountant / Accounts Manager - Kingston area
Our client, a successful and rapidly growing local firm of Accountants are seeking a dynamic ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant to work closely with a portfolio of clients primarily based locally across in SW and Central London and to play a key part in the review of the work of more junior team members, working closely with the Practice Manager and Partners.
They include professional partnerships, companies regulated by the FSA, property companies, retail companies and more.
The role - a hybrid role where you will spend approximately 50% of your time working remotely.
You will work very closely with a number of the clients in the Portfolio and the client base includes owner managed businesses, professional partnerships, companies regulated by the FSA, property companies and other growing businesses.
- To prepare year end accounts
- Review the first draft of accounts prepared by the team
- Prepare monthly management accounts for some clients
- Year end personal and corporate tax returns and relevant liaison with HMRC
Personal specification
- You will have experience of working closely with a portfolio of clients
- Be experienced in the preparation and review of statutory accounts
- Enjoy reviewing and supervising a small team of active studiers to enjoy quality of work and assist in their personal development and motivation to learn
- Have a good working knowledge of Online Accounting packages such as Xero
- Would like to work in a key position within a small and entrepreneurial firm.

Location:
Based in the Kingston area, the role is commutable from Richmond, Hampton, Twickenham, SW London, Epsom and surrounding areas.
