Located within walking distance of London Waterloo, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Audit Manager looking to take the next step towards RI level.

If you’re not yet an RI, full competency support and mentoring will be provided.


The Role

As Senior Audit Director / RI Designate, you’ll work closely with the Audit Partner and wider leadership team to shape the future of the audit function. You’ll lead high-quality audits, mentor a talented team, and develop trusted relationships with a diverse and prestigious client base.

This is a hands-on leadership position offering genuine autonomy, strategic influence, and a clear route to partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review audits from planning to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Review financial statements and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the audit team through regular reviews and coaching.
  • Oversee workflow and resourcing within the audit department.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Deliver CPD training and stay up to date with technical and legislative developments.
  • Begin developing your own client portfolio, with full Partner-level support.

About You

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven track record leading audits from planning through to completion.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Confident communicator with credibility at board and Partner level.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about driving audit quality and team development.
  • Currently working towards RI status.
