The Role – Senior Bookkeeper (Practice), Surrey
As a Senior Bookkeeper working within a Surrey-based accountancy practice, you will support a varied portfolio of clients, working closely with senior team members.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
- Producing monthly management accounts, including cash flow forecasting
- Carrying out bookkeeping where required and liaising with internal bookkeeping teams
- Supporting clients with day-to-day queries and accounting matters
- Working with a range of accounting software and cloud-based systems
About You
We are keen to speak with individuals who bring:
- Experience working within a UK firm of Chartered Accountants
- Strong bookkeeping and accounts preparation experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP
- Strong IT skills and confidence with accounting software
- A proactive and client-focused approach
Applicants may be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
Salary and Benefits
- £38,000 – £48,000 depending on experience
