Senior Financial Analyst, Leatherhead

This is an exciting opportunity for an ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant to join this dynamic Financial Services company. The UK HQ is based in Leatherhead, Surrey and the company offers a predominantly remote or hybrid working environment. This is a key role within the Finance team and you will report directly to the Head of FP&A. 

Your Objectives

The Senior Financial Analyst helps shape the company’s targets and strategy by creating transparency upon the financial implication of decisions made by business partners.  The role focuses on Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial Analysis of strategic decisions, KPI tracking and partnering with the business to drive effective results. 

Your Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Revenue and Cost Forecasting within the Group. 
  • Help business partners understand the financial implications of their decisions.
  • Support the relevant Executive member with ad hoc analysis/presentations to drive strategic and tactical decisions within departments.

Budgeting/Forecasting:

  • Develop the Annual Budget, Rolling Forecast and Long Range Plan.
  • Create clear transparency on the drivers of our Budget and Forecast. 
  • Work closely with the Management Accounts team to provide timely variance analysis reports with commentary.

Analysis:

  • Analyse the impact of various scenarios across several P&L lines.
  • Proactively analyse income and costs to understand key drivers.
  • Investment appraisals and post-investment evaluation.
  • Work closely with functions to maintain and improve financial control processes and governance.

Reporting:

  • Actively support forecast presentations and other presentations required for Executive Committee and Board.
  • Lead analyst for specific lines within the P&L and own overall understanding of movements.
  • Ensure deliverables are on time and accurate.
