Senior Financial Accountant (5-6 month contract)
This is an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant who enjoys working remotely. You will join an international retail / distribution business for a period of approximately 5-6 months.

This is a newly created role and you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller. This is a contract role and it is It is envisaged that you will be required from mid April until September 2024. Ideally this is a full time position, although working 4 days per week or from circa 30 hours per week will also be considered.
Suitable for an ACA Qualified, ACCA Qualified or CIMA Qualified Accountant, who is well organised, self motivated and enjoys working remotely. Whilst there may be an occasional requirement to visit the UK HQ (based near Kingston upon Thames), you will be able to spend the majority of this contract working remotely.
The main duties will include:
- Preparing Consolidated Accounts for several group companies (UK and International)
- Liaising with the external auditors, managing queries in a timely manner
- Overseeing the audit process and getting involved in the testing
- Updating and reconciliation of the Extended Trial Balance
- The main system used is Sage 200
Previous experience of working within Audit or of preparing consolidated accounts is preferred. Any experience of working for an international business is also desirable. .
You will report to the Group FC and senior management team and will suit an experienced finance professional, who is able to commit to this position until the autumn.
