Tax Senior / Tax Manager

The Partners' technical excellence ensures a breadth of services to their clients - including audit and assurance, business services, corporate finance and tax services. The firm has a successful growth record and has focused and transparent goals for its expansion plans which has created an exciting new opportunity for a Tax Senior or Tax Manager.

The role:

Reporting directly to the Partners you will have overall responsibility and accountability for the department working closely with all the main stakeholders in the firm to support the firm's portfolio of private clients.
Responsible for managing and improving the private client function which assists with the tax affairs of around 1,000 private clients. Typical clients include HNWIs, Non-resident / Non Domiciled Taxpayers, Trusts & Estates and business owners and their families.
You'll lead a small Tax team of 5 to review the compliance work of the more junior staff, motivate and develop active studiers and ensure the work of the team is compliant with up-to-date legislation.

The ideal candidate

An individual with considerable expertise in personal tax who can demonstrate technical capability and the desire to continue developing their knowledge.
A highly motivated individual who wishes to work for an extremely professional firm. Perhaps working for a Top 50 or boutique tax firm and wish to make the move out of London to a professional firm in Surrey.
You will be CTA qualified, perhaps with an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA)
You will be an ambitious individual looking to develop your career perhaps making the move from Tax Supervisor looking for your first opportunity as Tax Manager. You can engineer your own career here - however, you must be a good people manager.
