VAT Manager, London - An exciting opportunity for an experienced VAT professional in a prestigious firm of Chartered Accountants.
Our client is an international firm, very well established with an excellent reputation both in the UK and abroad. Reporting to the Directors but with a high degree of autonomy you will have considerable experience of working in a VAT based role within practice coupled with the ability to manage a varied portfolio and excellent IT skills.
Key tasks include but are not limited to:
* Providing VAT advice to clients and Partners
* Assisting with complex VAT registrations and compliance
* Led VAT and Customs Senior Accounting Officer reviews
* Providing technical training for staff and clients
* Liaising with HMRC
* Development of the VAT practice on behalf of the Firm
The successful VAT Manager will:
* Have VAT experience gained within Practice
* Have relevant qualifications
* Be confident in leading assignments in a deadline environment
